OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS

AT BMA FOUNDATION

OUR LOGO

The logo is designed in the shape of a turkey to represent Brian’s love of his job as both a turkey farmer who worked to preserve standard bred turkeys and natural farming methods, as well as his job working for The Animal Welfare Institute as a farm auditor.

UPPER LEFT QUANDRANT
The number 3 was the number Brian wore in football and represents not only his passion for playing sports, but also his competitive spirit. He was also the third child in his family.
UPPER RIGHT QUADRANT
A pair of Crocs shoes to represent the yellow crocs Brian was well known for wearing everywhere. They represent his fun-loving personality and his free spirt which won him many friends.
LOWER LEFT QUADRANT
The shape of Italy represents Brian's Italian heritage of which he was very proud.
LOWER RIGHT QUADRANT
The Kairos cross from a Kairos retreat that Brian participated in while at Rockhurst High School. The retreat made a lasting impression on him. It helped strengthen his faith in God and promote the Ignatian spirit in him to become "A Man For Others."

Brian's

Story

Brian was very athletic. From his early days at St. Thomas More Grade School playing on the fields and courts of the Parochial League and playing soccer for the Udinese Soccer Club, where he was chosen as a Missouri Olympic Development soccer player, Brian learned to love and excel in sports. He played soccer, football, basketball and track at Rockhurst High School, loving every minute of it. Finally, he went to the University of Missouri where he played football until an injury forced him to quit.
